As reported in last month’s Rue Morgue magazine, Monsters HD, a speciality channel in the States has restored the most extensive cut of Stuart Gordon’s second Lovecraft adaptation in all it’s ultraviolet brilliance. To promote this event, Monsters HD have created a small promo trailer, perfect for anyone not familiar with this little-known film.I know I’m in the minority here, but I’ve always preferred From Beyond to Re-Animator. There’s nothing quite like excessive practical effects.
