Tim Ormond has left a comment in my post concerning the passing of his mother, Nashville exploitation matriarch June Carr Ormond. It appears that a tribute page has been set up, with a number of wonderful articles and reminisces from friends, family and the film community. It’s a touching memorial, filled with the kind of passion that informed Ormond’s life. Where else are you going to find heartfelt appreciations from close friends side-by-side with anecdotes from fellow dancers from The Monster and The Stripper? If you knew Mrs. Ormond or admired her work please pay a visit to the tribute site and leave a message.

My condolences, Tim. I never knew your mother personally, but she seemed like a real firecraker.
