That narrows it down, Paul. I thought I had heard something similar, but couldn't confirm it. Thanks for supporting my delusions.

Though I'll be as happy as everyone else to finally be able to own a copy of THE MONSTER SQUAD on DVD, it ( & to a lesser extent, NIGHT OF THE CREEPS, which I'm almost reluctant to admit here, I've never been all THAT fond of ... ) has more than enough support here. So, I'm giving mine to Jeff & the horribly overlooked RITUALS, as well as Curt & the Naschy werewolf flicks that have yet to see pressings on disc here.
And while we're on the subject of neglected gems that need a DVD release, I have to mention THE BOOGENS.

Unless I'm mistaken, "Alice, Sweet, Alice"/"Communion" has yet to be given a DVD treatment. Arguably an overlooked gem...

I'd like to see Rituals given the full treatment as well.

Matt, I believe Anchor Bay released Alice, Sweet Alice nearly a decade ago. It's out-of-print now. I hope they consider it if they decide to release any more six-packs in the future.

[...] Last week on the The Horror Blog’s Weekly Horror Roundtable, Steven posed the question: What deserving horror movies have not yet received a North American DVD release? Film Junk’s own Jay Cheel (and many others) responded with Fred Dekker’s Night of the Creeps and Monster Squad as two of the most wanted flicks. In fact, there have been some online campaigns to get both of these classic films released on DVD, but now it looks like at least one of them will finally see the light of day in 2007.
