Tough To Kill!

This past month saw the publication of the most important book of 2008; Tough To Kill: The Italian Action Explosion. Authors Paul Cooke and David Zuzelo have been teasing international action aficionados with this tome for years, rationing out small tastes such as the formation of their blog of the same name and Zuzelo’s essential essay on the Pastapocalypse. With over 70 reviews and articles on Italian action cinema stalwarts like Bruno Mattei, Mark Gregory, Reb Brown, and Edoardo Margheriti, Cooke and Zuzelo are finally giving these treasures from the dusty shelves of Mom and Pop video stores the attention they deserve.
Give them your money. The future depends on it.

HAH! Thank ya sir…I’m hoping that everyone gets a kick out of it. I am just starting work on Volume 2, which looks to have a “RUMBLE IN THE JUNGLE” vibe.
You got it right, this is exactly what I hoped for, a trip back to the old video shop when I would scour credits trying to figure out exactly who made these and how many huts could get blown up!

I’m proud to say I was an early adopter and got my hands on this baby early. Davey Z and Paul’s enthusiasm for the genre makes me look like I kinda enjoy Italian movies. Great work, indeed!

I download the book some weeks back , what a great read , it must be one of the best books around in the genre i would advise anyone to download or even buy the book , if action movies of the Itilain kind are your thing . when will part 2 be released and will it be in the same format as download or buy the book . On any accounts its well worth the money and to all involved all the best in your future projects .
PS: A few pages in colour would do the book no harm at all .
Cheers
Shaun
